Child Sex Trading

My mother and I noticed a poster in a shop window the other day, it said ( translated into English) :
- Wake up Fredrik Reinfeldt ( Swedish prime minister), over 300 000 people are against the childsextrade, make a change.

I figured there’d be more, should t there? I mean it’s a serious cause.
I like how people use the term ‘more than‘ rather than stating facts, I’m sure it’s only 300 001 people , the 1 being the person who made the poster.
-There could be 300 003 if they’d asked me and my mom.

I didn’t know childsextrade in Sweden was a big issue, but then again like many criminal activities, it happens in obscurity, away from public eye.
-Why does it have to be so fucking hard to find?

I checked out ECPAT , an organisation which works against the childsextrade.
-Though under the tab ” What does ECPAT Sweden do? ” , I could’nt find the word STOP, anywhere.

Here’s what it says ( translated) :

ECPAT works for childs right not to be exploited in sex trade. The problem is global and daily children are being sold to sex buyers. To combat ( note, not STOP) the trade , ECPAT organisations are present in all continents.
- if they’re being exploited, shouldn’t there be a union for proper work rights? Maybe not working daily, maybe a few select days a week would be enough.

ECPAT Sweden has as a goal to minimize( note, not STOP) the income for pimps, human traders and others who profit from childrens bodies.
That is being done through complicating ( note, not STOPPING) things for those who finance the trade – the buyers. The less buyers, the less victims.
- Okay we’ll let the pimps have an income, but not too much. If we slowly ween their income, eventually, they might stop by themselves. Or not.

The thing about complicating things for the buyers doesn’t really work cuz it’s like trying to get people to lay of meat products. Just cuz you stop eating meat, doesn’t mean they stop processing it. It goes on as normal, if not MORE, to get the market back in balance again.

If I were a pimp, purely hypothetically, and I noticed the market was getting work, I wouldn’t give up. You don’t go from being a malicious child sex pimp to normal guy just like that. You keep pushing!

I’d recruit more kids, have better offers, buy one get one free,  so on and so on.

On a more serious note, childsextrade is wrong. I neither support not condone, regardless of what I just wrote
So yeah, Fredrik Reinfeldt wake up, make a change!
Bring out the freaking guns, I mean if you need armed bodyguards to watch you buy freaking milk at 7 Eleven, what’s stopping an army assaulting operation taking down the sex trade?
